Dr. Andreas Maeckler,
born in Germany, in 1958, studied history, art history and modern German literature. He has helped many people to write and publish their own biographies. He has acted as a ghostwriter and co-author, and he has worked together with internationally known soccer coach Rudi Gutendorf, and the Austrian painter Gottfried Helnwein. In 2004 he founded the Biography Center (Biographiezentrum) – a union of German-speaking personal historians. In 2008, he created the Academy of the Biography Center (Akademie des Biographiezentrums) for the education of biographers. Andreas Maeckler’s biography writing courses have been highly successful in Germany, and since 2011 they are now offered internationally.
